Ranging from videos with participants to podcasts with team members and listening sessions with Radio Grenouille, Manifesta 13 Marseille offers many ways to (re)discover Manifesta 13’s diverse programmes digitally and get a glimpse behind the scenes. |
SOUND COLLABORATIONS WITH RADIO GRENOUILLE
As part of Traits d’union.s’ public programme, Manifesta 13 Marseille developed a Sound Programme enabling sonic experimentation. Manifesta 13 gave Radio Grenouille-Euphonia a carte blanche to design a support and distribution programme for artists working with or learning about sound. It encompasses two sound creation residencies, six listening sessions and a Sound Gallery on Radio Grenouille. Listen to the Listening Sessions (in French) recorded live from Park Longchamps and the Conservatoire or within the Radio Grenouille’s studio.
Radio Grenouille also developed Traits d’union.s; a series of conversations between personalities from the world of art, culture, business as well as civil society, in which a diverse range of individuals debate the major questions raised in the biennial.

Finally, a part of Manifesta 13’s collateral programme, Les Parallèles du Sud, Radio Grenouille-Euphonia developed another projects called Sonographies Marseillaises, in which artists, scientists, inhabitants and studies tell stories about Marseille.

MANIFESTA 13’S PODCASTS
Behind the scenes of Manifesta is a series of podcast with those who work for the biennial. Here you can meet some of our team members, such as Hedwig Fijen, founding director of Manifesta or Beatrice Simonet, coordinator of Les Parallèles du Sud.
Being part of Manifesta is a series of podcasts with some of our collaborators, who explain in depth their work and Manifesta 13’s programmes. For instance, the Danish artist Stine Marie Jacobsen describes the Goup-Think project, an innovative sport and education programme she developed in various schools of Marseille within Le Tiers Programme, and Tikka Radio present Tikka Live, the series of event they did at Espace Manifesta 13, as part of the pre-biennial programme.
Finally, enjoy a musical break from Prof Babacar dj sets recorded during the housewarmings of the exhibitions Archive Invisible #2 #3 and #4 at Tiers QG.
