TOURS FOR GROUPS

Manifesta 13 Tours for groups are available every day during the opening hours of the biennial (Tuesday-Sunday, 09.00 – 18:00). The group will be accompanied by a Manifesta 13 Mediator. As opposed to the traditional model of the guided tour, the approach of mediation instigates debate and intellectual discussion around the artwork and the space of its exhibition. The mediator sets out to slow down the visitor in order for questions to arise, to gather responses, and be able to discuss varying opinions so that the groups own perceptions can evolve from the basis of collectively understanding the work.

Pre-booked Group Tours are available from Tuesday to Sunday from 09.00 to 16:00. Depending on the date of your visit, different Group Tours options are available. Please check the available Tours on the maps:

• Each Tour lasts approximately 1 h and 30 min. and is dedicated to one or two venues of the Biennial. The tours include a selection of works presented at the venues.

• The Tour costs 75 € per group (10 people max)

• Tours are available in French and English, and in Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Lingala upon request.

• Due to the high number of requests, we strongly recommend groups to book a tour at least 10 days in advance.

Please kindly note that the entrance ticket for each attendee needs to be purchased separately. Manifesta 13 Tickets can be purchased online here or at the Ticket Office at Espace Manifesta open from Monday to Sunday from 09.00 to 18:00 (42 La Canebière).

COVID-19 special health measures

Manifesta 13 tours are limited to 10 people accompanied by a mediator.
Wearing a mask is compulsory in museums and all of Manifesta 13 Marseille’s venues.
The distance of 1.5 metres must be respected between each visitor.
Each Manifesta 13 Marseille’s venue will have limited capacity of visitors.
Hand sanitisers will be available at the entrance of each venue.
