The project consists of the creation of artistic installations on two sites in the urban space at the selected places. By doing this in a short time, our goal is to take advantage of this intervention to mobilize the inhabitants and associative actors of the district around the needs of the district, concerning possible future developments.
We will carry out the construction of these “sculptures lieux” (sculptured spaces), integrating spaces for relaxation and new creative experiences. The development is a springboard to boost a participative dynamic to generate future projects. This action makes it possible to re-involve the inhabitants on issues around public spaces, to restore confidence and to lead to the formulation of new desires. The installation on the Canebière will give visibility to this collective appropriation and strengthen the artistic event.
