In unexpected places around Marseille, Moun Fou gives a voice to “silenced” citizens, those excluded from political debate, in a festive and poetic momentum. Where everyone’s abilities and life experiences enrich a collective performance.
Rara Woulib collective uses Marseille public space as a place that enhance dialogue and experiments, a lab for four “artistic attempts” last year. The last one, called fête vagabonde, created as part of Festival de Marseille 2019 was opened to all citizens : inhabitants, with or without shelter, precarious, artists… This unique political and artistic process, outside the box, is the founding act of Rara Woulib‘s current creation : Moun Fou. Carried by a network of various actors, Moun Fou will navigate the city, inviting onboard all different populations. This proposition will question how we live together, how we relate to one another, the place of the artist in the city and how we can share our knowledges and experiences beyond social barreers.
A proposal by Compagnie Rara Woulib in collaboration with Festival de Marseille, Lieux Publics, BE PART, IN SITU and JUST.
Partners : Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and Freedom Festival.
