This exhibition, a tribute to this artist from Liège, a year after his death in January 2019, seemed obvious to us and to all the institutions and galleries that worked with him as part of Manifesta 13.
Acrobat of the speech, eccentric speaker, the Belgian artist Eric Duyckaerts, a filiform genius with delicate phrasing and heart, has developed since the mid-1980s an unusual work mixing with facetiousness the plastic arts and the popularization of knowledge: sciences, rights, physics, logic, mathematics, etc.
