D’ailleurs, la vie ici and D’ici la vie ailleurs (Life here, from somewhere else and From here, life elsewhere) are two sides of the same coin revealed on two main sites: Les Capucins art center in Embrun and at OÙ in Marseille.
In D’ailleurs, la vie ici in Embrun, Les Capucins art center invites David de Tscharner to design a modular exhibition around sculptures with a domestic vocation. He proposes to artisans to apply their knowledge to industrial items from large-scale distribution. The exhibition tends to bring together distinct stories and thereby conciliate the here and the elsewhere.
A proposal by Centre d’art contemporain Les Capucins in collaboration with Où, lieu pour l’art actuel et ses alentours (businesses et artists workshops).
