Les suds d’Art-o-rama present a series of projects for an unprecedented version of the fair, at the time of its physical cancellation.
Avec le vent… is a work in public space, curated by Belgian artist Nico Dockx in close collaboration with colleague artist Cari Gonzalez-Casanova and some local sailors of the Nautical Society of Marseille. This work will consist in two sailing trips from Marseille to la Baie des Singes, departing from and returning to Le Vieux-Port de Marseille. Observation points will be proposed along the coast between the two destinations. For this work eighteen friends/ artists are invited to design sixteen sails especially for this event: Nico Dockx & Jan Mast, Alexis Gautier, Cari Gonzalez-Casanova, Heide Hinrichs, Karl Holmqvist, Ann Veronica Janssens, Koo Jeong A, Zak Kyes & Hans Ulrich Obrist, Pat McCarthy, Jonas Mekas, Philip Metten, Maurizio Nannucci, Ouragan, Anri Sala, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Luca Vitone. These sixteen new works will travel with the wind and constitute an experimental group exhibition on the sea. This exhibition at sea will be followed by an artist talk at the FRAC on the 10th of September at 18.00.

- 10.30: For the boat trip from the Vieux Port Quai des Belges.
The best viewpoint will be at the bottom of Fort St. Jean and at the Pharo. - Around 11.00: From the Catalans’ Cornice to Malmousque.
- Around 11.30: From Malmousque to the Hotel Nhow (200 Corniche President John Fitzgerald Kennedy).
- Around 13.00: On the coast – around Goudes
- Return to the port of Marseille around 17.00 by approaching the Corniche from the Nhow Hotel.
