As a Sattelite venue for the central exhibition programme Traits d’union.s and its plot the School, the Brasserie Communale will present Paradise, a film by the artists participants Calla Henkel & Max Pitegoff (1988, US / 1987, US).
Filmed in their own bar, TV, in Berlin, the dystopian show is part documentary, part tv show, and brings together a combination of bar regulars, employees, actors and neighbours. The plot takes place in 2023 and connects the different protagonists around the hope of a collective vision.
Initially scheduled from September 11th onwards, the screening of Paradise in three bars throughout the city: Bar Le Perrin, Chez Fun Funk, and La Brasserie Communale, will not be presented after last government measures on the 23rd of September, until further notice.
This place is not accessible to visitors with disabilities.
