Discover the sound programme in collaboration with Radio Grenouille from the 29th of August until the 9th of October 2020, part of the public programme of Traits d’union.s.
For this Listening Session, Radio Grenouille-Euphonia and Manifesta 13 Marseille have invited the deletere collective to create a spatialised sonic immersion. Spanning Southern Europe to West Asia via North Africa, the deletere collective offers a tour of electroacoustic and experimental music from the Mediterranean. The listening session encompasses several scenes, spatialised on the Brane Project speaker orchestra to explore new sonic and musical horizons.

Deletere is a nomadic laboratory focusing their research on new technologies as an artistic medium. Firmly transversal, the association mainly produces multimedia performances that question our relationship with machines. Founded in Marseille in 2013, deletere now houses a collective of artists and technicians united by their technical complementarity and curiosity.
Part of the public programme and in collaboration with Radio Grenouille, the Listening Sessions feature sound performances that will take place at different venues during the biennial. Two of them also include an artist residency. Radio Grenouille has conceived collective listening experiences that introduce the audience to the principles of listening. Collective listening places sound at the centre of a social moment, reactivating and sharing speech.
Initially scheduled on the 4th of October, the listening is postponed to November because of the bad weather. We will communicate the new date soon, stay tuned !
