Discover the film programme in collaboration with Vidéodrome 2 from the 27th of August until the 25th of October 2020, part of the public programme of Traits d’union.s.
The third session of the film programme is curated by T.J Demos, (b. 1966, US) director of The Center for Creative Ecologies. This film series assembles a diverse group of visionary practitioners whose films offer points of light on what lies beyond dystopian catastrophism. They ask how we might cultivate radical futures of social justice and ecological flourishing.
The Center for Creative Ecologies, directed by Professor T. J. Demos at the University of California, Santa Cruz, researches the intersection of experimental art and aesthetic practice, political ecology and environmental justice. The Center is also a participant of the Traits d’union.s exhibition at Manifesta 13 Marseille.
