Discover the film programme in collaboration with Vidéodrome 2 from the 27th of August until the 25th of October 2020,  part of the public programme of Traits d’union.s.

For the first film session, Manifesta 13 Marseille and Vidéodrome 2 have programmed a selection of James Benning’s films that spans his entire oeuvre. Benning’s films are cinematic experiences that challenges viewers’ habitual ways of seeing. James Benning  (1942, US) is an American director, editor and visual artist. His work often touches on issues related to landscape, race, personal history and collective memory.
