Le Grand Puzzle, the pre-biennial urban study by MVRDV and The Why Factory led by Winy Maas and commissioned by Manifesta 13 Marseille offers a captivating portrait of Marseille that highlights its beauty, needs, contrasts and potential. The study looks at the city through three different lenses: interviews, urban maps and proposals. Thus, it serves as a tool for its citizens to rethink the potential of their city.
